However, as this is breaking news, we are still waiting for a statement from the Financial Administration. Once the Financial Administration issues a statement on how road tax already paid for 2022 will be handled, I will inform my clients about the next steps. 🙂
What is already certain, however, is that road tax advance payments will no longer be payable from 2022; tax should now be paid only by the return filing deadline, as with other taxes. If the amendment is approved, this information applies only to operators of vehicles over 12 tonnes.
