What is an ELDP?

It is a form in which the employer states the employee’s details, the number of days worked and their annual earnings. This document must be submitted to the Czech Social Security Administration’s data box by 30.5. of the following year. For employment ending during the year, it is filed as the employment ends. The information on days worked is then used to establish the years worked for determining the employee’s retirement date, while earnings are used to calculate their pension.

What is new?

Your employee must now sign this document in the appropriate box at the bottom of the form. By signing, they confirm receipt of their own copy, which must take place no later than the day the ELDP is sent to the ČSSZ data box. You must then retain the signed document for at least another 3 years.

If you are unsure, feel free to get in touch and we will look at it together. 🙂
