Domestic meal allowances

New meal allowances for domestic business trips:

  • CZK 129–153 for trips lasting 5–12 hours,
  • CZK 196–236 for trips lasting 12–18 hours,
  • CZK 307–367 for trips lasting more than 18 hours.

Foreign meal allowances

Some basic foreign meal allowance rates also increased for 2023; the full list of rates for individual countries is available here.  

Allowance for using your own car

From 2023, the basic allowance for wear and tear on a car changes to CZK 5.20/km. The statutory fuel rates also changed: 

  • CZK 41.20 per litre of 95-octane petrol,
  • CZK 45.20 per litre of 98-octane petrol,
  • CZK 44.10 per litre of diesel,
  • CZK 6 per kWh of electricity.

Flat-rate meal contribution

As the flat-rate meal contribution is directly linked to meal allowance rates, its maximum amount also increases to CZK 107.10 per shift worked.
